GEORGIA THEODORAKOPOULOU
My love for sports goes a long way back. When I was still a child, I won my first prizes in 100m and 200m track school competitions.
I graduated from the Department of Physical Education & Sport Science of Democritus University of Thrace, where I excelled for my scientific projects and sport performance as a goalkeeper at the local football team.
After completing my studies, I worked for five years as a trainer in the paralympic sport Boccia, for both Greek and European athletes at the foundation created by the Olympian athlete, Pyrros Dimas.
In recent years, I played for the women's football team of Panathinaikos and later for Asteras Tripolis. I now work as a football coach for Greek teams, wanting to discover other aspects of the sport from a new position, and I realise that my love for sports will never end.
