GEORGIA THEODORAKOPOULOU
My love for sports goes a long way back. When I was still a child, I won my first prizes in 100m and 200m track school competitions.
I graduated from the Department of Physical Education & Sport Science of Democritus University of Thrace, where I excelled for my scientific projects and sport performance as a goalkeeper at the local football team.
After completing my studies, I worked for five years as a trainer in the paralympic sport Boccia, for both Greek and European athletes at the foundation created by the Olympian athlete, Pyrros Dimas.
For many years I was a goalkeeper for Panathinaicos and the Asteras Tripolis women’s football teams. This year, I'm working as a trainer for the women's team of Ayia Paraskevi. I've always wanted to discover more aspects of the sport I'm so passionate about, and I'll be able to do so from a new position this time. That makes me realise that my love for sports will never end.
